Ground kit
Ground kit is everything you need that does not fly: the radio transmitter, the FPV goggles, the charger and the tools. It is coming soon. In this version the section is a placeholder with no model behind it.
Where it is
Section titled “Where it is”Ground kit is greyed in the section row. You can still select it. It shows four rows, Radio, Goggles, Charger and Tools, all marked soon, and a panel that says what belongs here and why.

What will belong here
Section titled “What will belong here”The panel lists: radio transmitter, FPV goggles, charger, LiPo bag, tools, and spare props.
Why it matters
Section titled “Why it matters”The ground kit is often more than half of what a first build costs, and it is the half a beginner is least able to choose. It also works backwards into the drone: your goggles decide which camera and video transmitter you can use, your radio decides your receiver, and a 6S drone needs a charger that can charge 6S packs.
Until this section is built, Lothal lets you design a drone without saying anything about how you will fly it. Check those pairings yourself before you buy.
